This thing is my baby. circa 1982 VR-5000 tuner, VCX-200 cassette deck, and a Technics SL-BD22 turntable. Lava lamps, old school anime posters, ponies, a purple gameboy color, and yes that is Austin Powers.
I love the warm clear sound you get out of the vintage systems. I generally use it for easy listening as I'm kind of paranoid about it breaking. I have an early 90's 1500 watt Sony system for the rest of the time.
no idea. but the brand died out soon after the year they made my stereo. It is a super rare stereo where the production line build in the guts of an NAD stereo which is one of the best and most expensive stereo systems.
